Green. You're doing fine.

level: green · low risk

What you checked is already public or has nobody's data in it. Keep it up, and write down the rule for the day something sensitive shows up.Public or non-personal data. Minimum controls: one approved tool and a one-page policy for when the use case changes.

Yellow. It's fine, with two conditions.

Use the company account, not anyone's personal Gmail, and strip the names before pasting. That cuts the risk a lot without slowing the work.Internal data or partial PII. Business account with an admin console, anonymize before pasting, and check your provider's terms on retention and training.

Method: measure before touching

Before touching anything, we measure what hurts: how long a WhatsApp takes to get answered, how many bookings don't show up, how long a quote takes. Then two quick wins on the business's own accounts, and the team using AI with clear rules. I'll share the first full case here, with real numbers, whatever they are.

About me

I'm Dominican. I taught myself to code, and in 2016 I started Delonix, which began as a marketing shop and now builds software with AI. I work as a Full-Stack Engineer for a US company, and I live and work from the countryside in the Dominican Republic.

I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses. My faith is why I don't fake it, don't promise what I can't deliver and look for deals where everyone wins.

Away from the screen I play basketball (too much, my wife says), train and read a lot: business, biographies, whatever lands on my desk.

If you read this far, we're basically friends.

Self-taught. I started with PHP and WordPress, spent years in Rails, and today I also write Go, React and Python, whatever the problem asks for.
